Susan Pierce Jacobsen

Susan has over 25 years’ experience in leadership, relationship cultivation and business administration.  In addition to the Village Diaper Bank, Susan currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Carbone Cancer Center.  

As a long time Madisonian, Susan has been involved with Friends of UW Hospital and Clinics, Rape Crisis Center, American Family Children’s Hospital, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Badger Chapter American Red Cross and River Food Pantry. These community leadership roles have given her a unique and valuable perspective on best practices within nonprofits.

Prior to her retirement in 2022, Susan served as the Director of Administration Operations/Vice President at JLA Architects, a medium sized architectural firm with offices in Madison, Milwaukee and Denver, Colorado. Susan has been cheering for the Village since its inception and is proud to serve as the current board chair.
