Diaper banks supply diapers to local communities through partner social service agencies. This approach limits unnecessary duplication of services, reduces administrative expenses, and works collaboratively to solve a basic human need at the community level for infants, young children, and the disabled.
If a client needs diapers, they often have many other needs as well. Local social service agencies that deal with a full continuum of care are best qualified to meet this need and to become Village Partner Agencies. By providing diapers, The Village is giving an incentive to its partner agencies that could keep parents participating in programming that can help them break the cycle of poverty. We’re proud to be sidekicks behind the scenes, helping super heroes in our community make an even bigger impact.

The Village Diaper Distribution Process
Generous community members donate diapers.
Individuals, businesses, teams, churches, community groups (you name it!) all collect & donate diapers to help babies get the supplies they need to thrive. We also collect supplies through our annual Community Diaper Drive in partnership with NBC 15.
We purchase remaining needed diapers in bulk.
We use cash donations to purchase THOUSANDS of diapers each month to ensure each of the little ones we serve receives the perfect fit. Did you know for every $1 we receive we can purchase $3 worth of diapers?
Partner agencies place diaper orders.
Each child can count on 100 diapers or 50 training pants per month, with no household limits. We believe that in order to make a meaningful financial impact for our families, we need to distribute approximately a half month’s supply to each of the children we serve.
Volunteers sort, inventory, and wrap diapers.
We wouldn’t exist without the volunteers who put in 80+ hours each month to ensure each order is packed with dignity and ready on time. The community counts on us because we can count on them.
Agencies pick up their diapers once a month.
Our diapers become added incentives for each agency’s ongoing case-management programs. For those enrolled in our “Every b model, we label each bundle with identifying information for both the client and caseworker to help save our agencies time and ensure each package makes it to the right family every time.
Families receive the supplies they need & deserve.
Most of our diapers are delivered right to the homes of clients by their case managers monthly, eliminating access barriers and strengthening bonds. To improve community access to our resources, we also support local food banks with diapers and wipes.
